***Rates:$16.00-$18.00 per hour*** rate will be determined based of experience in same or similar position.

The Activities/ Recreation Assistant will assist in the coordination and implementation of programs and one-on-one activities for our residents in our Nursing, Assisted Living, and/or Memory care units. Activities can include but are not limited to exercise, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, cognitive games, reminisce, spiritual programs, and sensory activities. The Activities/Recreation Assistant also assists in creating, planning, and leading the weekly calendar of events. This position will also provide/assist with transportation for residents to outings and events (postCovid-19 restrictions).

‍What you need:

• High school diploma
• Excellent verbal and communication skills, interpersonal skills and possess the ability to explain activities to large groups and individuals with different     capabilities
• Creativity, Drive and Compassion
• Outgoing and fun personality
• Previous experience working with Seniors and/or persons with Dementia or other memory disorders is desirable.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
