Falcons Landing was formed in 1984 by a group of retired Air Force officers who dreamed of creating a premier military Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C. They formed AFROC (Air Force Retired Officers Community) in the late 80's and made that dream a reality when we opened our doors to the first residents in 1996! Our Priority Club Membership (AFROC) is strong and includes both Falcons Landing residents and those who plan to make it their home in the future.
Submit your application along with your $1,000 membership fee and enjoy priority admission, invitation to our Annual Membership Meeting & Open House and more. If your plans change, your fee is fully refundable. Download your application here and email it to marketing@falconslanding.org or just drop it in the mail! Payment can be a personal check, wire transfer, or credit card. Just give us a call at 703-404-5151 and we will assist you with next steps!
Independent Living at Falcons Landing welcomes any person who has served at least four years in the uniformed services or a U.S. government agency, as well as those with significant connections to the national defense community, including governement contractors. Others may also apply for residency on a case-by-case basis.
For those looking for a higher level of care, including long-term care nursing, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living or memory care, we are open to the general public. No military or government background is required.
