President's Achievement Award: January 2017

Maria Hernandez was the President’s Achievement Award winner for January 2017! Maria has been at Falcons Landing since May 2002. She was nominated by a resident who appreciated her compassionate care and comfort during an emergency. Here is an excerpt from her nomination:

“I ask that Maria be recognized for her selfless act of coming to my aid when I was in great distress in the JC mailroom last Saturday. I bent down to pick up a piece of paper I had dropped and my hip became dislocated. I was in extreme pain and did not have my phone to call for help. She stayed with me and physically and spiritually supported me until the Sterling Fire & Rescue team arrived. Without her help, I do not know what I would have done. I will not soon forget her compassionate aid.”
