Falcons Landing Named Northern Virginia’s Best Retirement Community

In early January I learned that Falcons Landing was nominated for “Best Retirement Community” in Virginia Living Magazine’s Best Of Virginia survey. Each year the Magazine has an online survey that covers five different regions in Virginia, and each region has over 106 categories; this year they had Best Retirement Community in Northern Virginia. Voting ran until the end of January.

As soon as I found out, I immediately got the news to all residents and staff! In mid February, I was notified that we were one of the top three finalists and that our places would be announced in the May 2017 issue of the periodical. Well, May came and I could not be more proud of our community — Falcons Landing placed #1!

For those of you reading this article, you may not be surprised at our placement (nor was I), but there are now hundreds of people who read Virginia Living Magazine; now they know that Falcons Landing is the very best retirement community #1 in Northern Virginia! Virginia Living is an upscale, lifestyle magazine that celebrates all things Virginia and has a readership of over 500,000.
