Our Wellness Mission

Falcons Landing is firmly committed to promoting the health and well-being of our residents throughout the community. Our program encompasses all dimensions of wellness and provides an array of options to support their aging in place while enabling them to enjoy vibrant, independent lifestyles.

Our entertaining and dynamic wellness programs give residents what they need to maintain healthy habits and independence. We offer many activities: an annual Health Fair, influenza vaccinations and monthly wellness programs that feature experts on nutrition, heart health,  benefits of Aqua Therapy and other timely topics. You can also schedule a relaxing massage with our licensed therapist or meet with our registered dietician for nutritional guidance.

Staying fit and active is fun at Falcons Landing Retirement Community.

We have three walking clubs that take full advantage of the local scenic trails, as well as state-of-the-art treadmills for those who prefer indoor activities.  Our Fitness Center features several types of exercise equipment for aerobic or strength training.  The Junior Olympic swimming pool is great for laps, or you can join a water volleyball game or water aerobics class.  The indoor whirlpool spa fits the bill for relaxing.  Tennis players meet regularly on our court for singles or doubles and are always on the lookout for new players.  There are two golf groups that enjoy playing a round at one of the eight nearby courses. On a rainy day, you may enjoy a spirited game of table tennis, Wii Bowling or an aerobics class. 

Fitness Classes

Chair Yoga

A chair based yoga routine that incorporates standing as well. Helps posture, improves flexibility, and increases core strength. Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 AM.

Chair Aerobics

An aerobic routine consisting of sitting and standing exercises. Helps with cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Mon, Wed, Fri at 11:00 AM.

Aqua Aerobics

An easy on the joints exercise class in the pool. Helps with cardiovascular endurance as well as muscular strength. Mon, Wed, Fri at 8:30 AM.

Balance

Our Eight week Balance course is designed to improve balance and mobility. Due to a limited class size, sign up is required. Tuesday or Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Strengthening for Fall Prevention

A class designed to improve lower body strength and balance for the purpose of reducing fall risk. Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 AM.
