Nursing Staff Coordinator

 

Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and talented Nursing Staff Coordinator for our nursing facility at The Johnson Center. 

 

Falcons Landing is an Air Force Retirement Officers Community located west of Washington, DC in beautiful Potomac Falls, Northern Virginia.  We are a first-class Life Plan Community, privately held not for profit organization which provides an outstanding and caring work environment.

 

The general purpose of the Nursing Staff Coordinator is to ensure staffing requirements are met to meet the needs of our residents in accordance with state and federal regulations. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating schedules for new hires, maintain an accurate staffing schedule, updates and arranges staff schedules for clinical team members, utilizing a per diem (PRN) pool for staffing coverage, monitor and track employee attendance, and find replacement staffing to cover call-outs.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of staffing experience, must be able to work a flexible schedule and every other weekend, excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.  Prior nursing home staffing experience preferred but not required.  Excellent opportunity for a candidate with a Certified Nursing Assistant certification or former licensed nurse.  Additional required skills include MS Word and Excel knowledge and proficiency.
