Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and talented Recreation Manager to lead our Healthcare Recreation department.

Falcons Landing is a Life Plan Retirement Community located west of Washington, DC in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia.  We are a first-class Life Plan Community, privately held not-for-profit organization which provides an outstanding and caring work environment.  Falcons Landing has a wonderful combination of residential homes, spacious apartments and three high class healthcare residences.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the overall organization and leadership of the Recreation department at the Johnson Center Nursing unit. The Recreation Manager will develop and administer a comprehensive recreation program to meet the needs, interests, and capabilities of the nursing and assisted living units. Oversees and coordinates recreational, physical, social, and individualized programs fora geriatric residential facility. In charge of and responsible for the performance of the volunteer program and to develop community resources.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to two years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to includes weekends and holidays when necessary.
• proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Salary

• $60,000.00 - $65,000.00
