Facilities Manager - $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Facilities Manager

Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and talented Facilities Manager.  This position oversees the facilities operations and works under the leadership of the Director of Facilities.  This position supervises a staff of mechanics, painters, and utility team members.  

Falcons Landing is a Life Plan Retirement Community located west of Washington, DC in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia.  We are a first-class Life Plan Community, privately held not-for-profit organization which provides an outstanding and caring work environment.  Falcons Landing has a wonderful combination of residential homes, spacious apartments and three high class healthcare residences.

Manager Responsibilities include:

·        Provide direct oversight of Maintenance Supervisor, mechanics and painters team members to include work order assignments, supplies, materials, and inventory

·        Direct engagement with residents, vendors, and contactors, managing onsite projects, and securing large equipment for exterior projects

·        Annually train and re-train new and current maintenance team members

·        Organize, coordinate and support facilities projects

·        Manage supply and operational budget

·        Provide annual input for capital budget

·        Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintenance team members

·        Ability to follow and apply company policy for the Maintenance department  

 Requirements include:

·        Must have an active and valid Master License

·        Knowledge of commercial boilers

·        Knowledge of Plumbing (soldering and brazing)

·        Knowledge of Electrical (residential and commercial)

·        Type II, or universal CFC

·        Extensive HVAC knowledge and trouble shooting skills for commercial including (VAV, VVT,VRF, VRV, AHU’s, and RTU’s) and residential split systems.

·        Must possess a valid and uncompromised driver’s license

·        Experience Operating: Snowplow, Forklift, Geni Lift, and small tractor vehicles

·        Experience using computer-based work order system: Worx Hub A-Plus preferred

Education and/or Experience:

·        BA degree from college or technical institution and minimum of 3 – 5 years related management or supervisory experience and training; or

·        Associates degree and minimum of 5 years related management or supervisory experience and training; or

·        A combination of technical institution education and 7 years related management or supervisory experience and training

Work Environment:

·        Able to work safely indoor and outdoor during various weather conditions

 Salary:

·        $90,000- $95,000 annual salary range
